Darnell Phillips is a Grammy certified trumpeter that resides in Atlanta, GA. He has an extensive background in music that covers blues, jazz, and hip-hop. He has worked with some of the industry's biggest acts in music to date. Darnell Phillips is a recent graduate of Full Sail University with an associates degree in Recording Arts and a bachelors degree in Entertainment Business. He is currently working on a masters degree in Entertainment Business. He has worked for companies such as, BET, Coca- Cola, Ebony, Pantene, NCR, and Georgia Power as a Multi Media Technician. He has experience as an audio engineer, video engineer, web casting and teleconferencing specialist for corporate events and meetings.
            Darnell Phillips has been playing professionally since he was 19 years of age. His first professional gig was with blues and soul singer Johnny Taylor from 91’-95. He also played with Bobby “Blue” Bland from 97’-99’ and 01’-03’. He has played with producers such as Bangladesh, Ensayne Wayne, Drumma Boy and Wylcef Jean. He received a Grammy certificate for playing trumpet on Usher’s Grammy winning album for Best Contemporary R & B album in 2010.
